A & S Design Services

Hours

Our incoming fax and e-mail lines are available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Our telephone lines are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.

Placing Orders

Orders may be placed via our online order form (we will call you regarding payment methods) or by phone. All custom orders must be accompanied with a layout when requested.

Shipping

We ship by United Parcel Service ground, unless otherwise requested. All of our prices are FOB our plant in Saco, Maine. Shipping and handling charges will be added to all orders. Shipping dates are estimated.

Damage/Shortage Claims

Any claims for apparent or concealed loss or damage should be reported immediately to our customer service department. We will honor claims providing the containers and packing materials are held for inspection by the shipping carrier. All claims must be made within five (5) days of receipt of shipment.

Custom Orders & Discounts

All non-stocked and custom items require a 50% non-refundable deposit. All discounted merchandise must be prepaid to qualify for discounted pricing.

Confirming Orders

All confirming orders must be clearly marked "CONFIRMING." If a duplication of a verbal order occurs because "CONFIRMING" did not appear on the subsequent written order, a 15% restocking charge plus freight and handling charges will be applied to the duplicated order.

Payments

We accept checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard and American Express credit cards. Failure to make payment within the agreed upon terms will result in charges of 1.8% or $50.00 per month, whichever is greater, on all uncollected amounts. Such amount will be charged from the date the account became overdue, regardless of the date of notification, and will result in collection activities against the debtor and its employees. If an invoice is not paid when due, purchaser agrees to pay all cost of collection including attorney's fees whether incurred in or out of court, on appeal, in arbitration, in bankruptcy court or in any insolvency proceedings.

Limited Warranties and Liabilities

Products are warranted to be shipped free of defects in manufacture or assembly. Defective products will be repaired, replaced or substituted with the same item or item of equal value. Damage due to wear, abuse, misuse or neglect is not covered. A & S Designs shall be liable for repair or replacement only if it receives a written request for such repair or replacement within thirty (30) days after such defect becomes or should have become apparent to the buyer. Manufacturer's liability shall be limited to actual damages up to and not in excess of the actual cost of the products. In no event shall the manufacturer be liable for any loss to customer's business, revenues or profits or the cost to the customer of other products or any special consequential or penal damages of any nature for any claim against the customer by any third party.

Returns

A 15% restocking fee or $25, whichever is greater, plus shipping and handling charges will be applied to returned orders. Custom covers cannot be returned. Returns are accepted only with prior written authorization. Call us for a return authorization number.
